After the President of China Xi Jinping proposed the Belt and Road Initiative, all sectors of Kuwait responded enthusiastically. During Kuwait’s Prime Minister Jaber’s visit to China, the two sides signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Jointly Promoting Cooperation on the Silk Road Economic Belt and Silk City. Kuwait became the first country in the world to sign a Belt and Road cooperation document with China.
On July 19-22, 2022, the Honeycomb Aerospace delegation went to the Ministry of Defense of Kuwait for business negotiations. The two parties discussed the Honeycomb Aerospace intelligent UAV inspection system. Specifically, they talked about autonomous unmanned patrols in border defense, high-frequency high- and low-altitude patrols, rapid response to emergencies, and real-time intelligent data transmission.
The representative of Honeycomb Aerospace introduced to the Kuwait Ministry of Defense the company’s development history, corporate culture, achievements in the international market, the currently delivered and contracted projects. Additionally, they shared the next market expansion plan in Kuwait. Honeycomb Aerospace is committed to being pragmatic and putting customers first. And they made a detailed introduction about the autonomous unmanned operation mode, flight capability, system debugging, flight-control hardware, data transmission, mission payloads, and how the SU-50 and SU-30 intelligent UAV inspection systems of Honeycomb Aerospace meet border-defense mission requirements. During border-defense operations, high-altitude and low-altitude patrols work in tandem to conduct reconnaissance, scanning key-area targets in detail. The radar equipment installed on these UAVs can detect extremely small or slow-moving ground targets, providing reliable information support for border-defense forces.

The company stated that, as a representative of Chinese private drone enterprises, it will, in line with the local business requirements of Kuwait, deeply explore the drone market in Kuwait. It also promised that Honeycomb Aerospace will spare no effort to provide professional drone services, assist the work of the Ministry of Defense of Kuwait, and promote the development of Honeycomb drones from China in the Kuwaiti market.
