Intelligent general aviation is a high-tech industry that has emerged in recent years and serves as a crucial driving force for the development of the low-altitude economy in Zhejiang Province. From March 30th to 31st, The Second Tianmushan Forum, themed “Intelligent General Aviation and Low-altitude Economy,” was held in Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City. Seven academicians, namely Xu Huibin, Xiang Jinwu, Gong Shengkai, Yang Huayong, Feng Zhihai, Jiang Chengbao, and Zhang Di, gathered to discuss the cutting-edge technologies and industrial development of intelligent general aviation and the low-altitude economy.
The forum aims to discuss the domestic and international current situation and development trends in the field of intelligent general aviation and low-altitude economy, along with cutting-edge technologies and industrial directions. It leverages the talents and technologies amassed by Tianmushan Laboratory in unmanned aerial vehicles, flight propulsion, aviation materials, and flight control. The forum facilitates extensive communication with relevant enterprises, promotes the integration of the laboratory with the local economy, and drives the transfer and transformation of the laboratory's scientific research findings. Moreover, it provides technical support for building a province with a strong aviation industry and boosting the development of the low-altitude economy.
Honeycomb Aerospace, as an invited enterprise, exhibited the HC-540 vertical take-off and landing fixed-wing UAV with a flight duration of up to 6 hours and a payload capacity of 30 kg, as well as the SU-50 intelligent unmanned airfield model. Dr. Zeng Youbing, the former chief designer of the AG50 aircraft of AVIC Group, Cheng Bolin, the deputy director of the UAV Working Committee of China Association of the Aviation Industry, Jin Bing, the Inspector and Deputy Director of the Policy and Regulations Department of the State Post Bureau, Xu Chaoqun, the former Director of the Aircraft Airworthiness Certification Department of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, and Liu Weiwei, the director of the Airworthiness Certification Institute of the Chinese Academy of Civil Aviation Science and Technology, visited and exchanged ideas.
The Forum conducts all-round exchanges and interactions through reports, technical demonstrations, round tables and other forms. The views presented at the forum will certainly have an important impact on those engaged in technology research and development, policy research, as well as enterprise management personnel.
